My Skincare Routine 2013
Hi guys I would like to share with you my skincare routine. Well I have used these products for around 3 months and I absolutely love it. My skin type is combination skin , well I am oily in my T zone and dry on my cheeks but I do have problematic skin. I have used a lot of skincare lines but I always failed to keep my skin in balance. I do not really suffer with serious acne but I do have irritating breakouts now and then, I can only get my skin clear for a couple of days then the breakouts come back again but after using the Clean face skincare line from TheFaceshop it has definitely kept my skin clear for a long time ,with a help of healthy diet too of course. This skincare line is really affordable and it has great and beautiful packaging, it is worth the price given.
Acne Solution Foam Cleansing is really great for acne or breakout prone skin, it deeply cleanses and has a nice smell of green tea to it .Furthermore it keeps my skin calm and free from breakouts. After using the cleanser your face will feel smooth and oil free. When applying it your face it lathers up really well too.
Mild toner is my favourite in this skincare line. After using the cleanser when I apply the toner using a cotton pad it leaves my skin refreshed and takes out any dirt still on my skin. Furthermore when I use the toner it really improves my complexity and leaves my skin bright and clean. It does not stink and calms down any breakouts I have.
After I tone my face I use my mild lotion which acts as my facial moisturiser this is great for oily skin as the lotion is really light and does not clog your pores.
Well this is the Oil Free Control essence which will treat your skin problems leaving your face fresh and clean throughout the day
Well to deal with my existing pimples, blemishes, spots I use 2 products which is the Clean Face Anti-Trouble Healing Spot Roll On and Himalaya Acne-n-pimple cream. Both work extremely well. I use Clean face in the day and Himalaya on the night. the Clean Face Anti-Trouble Healing Spot Roll is colourless and light thus in day time when u r in the office u can just keep on applying on your spots as it dries quick and does not show on your face. Furthermore it is small and I find it easy to carry around, to keep in your makeup bag or even just to bring it to the toilet by hand without it being so obvious in your hand. Himalaya Acne-n-pimple cream is a whit paste thus I use it on night and usually I will be generous with it and slather on all my spots and just wash it in the morning. Both have given me great results, after using my spots will look smaller and is less irritant.

Last but not least for my mask I use Himalaya too, I use its clarifying Mud mask, and usually I apply this after I open up my pores with steam. Trust me any mask works well after a steam facial. It really deep cleanses your skin and I use it twice each week.

Custmoized Beauty/Grooming Essentails checklist !!!!!

Have any of you’ll searched for a grooming or beauty essential checklist but to no avail or am I the only one searching for it ha-ha. I have searched the net high and low for a beauty checklist that can help me to keep track of my entire list of beauty essentials and products. However I have failed to find one which will suit me.

When I was 16 I was trying to venture into skincare routines and makeup routines but I always end up being clueless and confused about which are essentials needed and which products goes first. It was not easy for me as I am the only girl in the family and there was no one to educate me on such things. My mum was not a great help as she was brought up in the rural part of India and thus did not possess any knowledge in this area. Eventually after a sometime makeup gurus in YouTube started to grow and I started learning from them slowly. But it was still a struggle for the first few years,

Well that’s why I decided to customize my own checklist however do not expect it to be really detailed. Well currently I use this list and the benefits are so

1) Lists out the essential products used in a beauty regime, this can be useful for starters.

2) Keeps track of what kind of essentials you have not looked into yet.

3) Keep track of your budget for beauty cost

4) Keep track of brands being used for how long as well

5)It also serves as a guideline in the sequence of the routine such as 1)cleanser,2)Toner

This can also double up as your wish list or even your planner for reviews on beauty posts or videos for your blog or channel (Instead of writing the amount just wirte the dates so as to know which product is being reviewed on which date)

It can also be your wish list for items you would like to purchase in the category.

This checklist is also great for starters, your essentials in each section can be fewer in the beginning and as you are branching out more, let’s say u have not yet used a facial serum leave that box out so that you will know that you have to try out ain the future.

I am not saying u should use all essentials in each category, like I said this is just a guideline and customize it to be your own such as you can start with fewer essentials and add on different categories to it. It is just a simple and basic guideline list which can be used as an inspiration for you to start.

Please also comment below if you had a similar story as me and also let me know if there are better and more effective beauty list out there.

Organization
Planner Organization-Part 1(Await for the part two of the organization series which is about a customized beauty checklist)

Planning and organizing your life is really vital. Everyone should possess a planner for their life. Your planner should have a effective system which should motivate you to lead your day productively. Personally I use a planner to subconsciously make my mind stick with the system, so that I will be automatically be inclined to meet my tasks for the day. I used to go without a planner but always was never productive; I would always miss out the nifty gritty things to be done which eventually boils down to a useless day.

Keys to an effective planner

1) A Good System-Your planner should entail a good system which should subconsciously be in sync with how your mind works. It should be like having a loving relationship with it-ha ha

Visual System
This system requires a lot of brightly colored dots, post- its, and flags. Well It does not stop there, you have to make use of such stickers to make your mind visually stimulated. One glance at your weekly page should tell you which days are you busy, when is the peak hours in a day, and when you can slot in appointment

Detailed System
This system requires timeline and precise instructions of tasks to do. This is for people who are detail conscious, they are the type where they write down each nifty gritty details in the planner. Their planner will be very concise and precise to their mind. They will never miss out on small little tasks to be done. They adhere to a timeline and are very strict to following their planner.

Family System
This system is mostly for mothers at home who care so much about the family that they would not want to miss out their son’s soccer match or their kids meet the parents session. They believe in bringing together the whole family in a systematic way. They usually are in the form of binders as there are far more tabs then for personal use and they color coordinate the members of the family.

To-do-List System
Well this is a system for people who are quite laid back and actually I did stick to this system when I was younger as for me I never go according to a timeline, this system just seeks out effectiveness by getting the tasks done. Some people do not stick to a detailed timeline version of a planner their motive is “ Getting Tasks done”.

2Visually Appealing - Your planner should be visually appealing to look at and it should catch your attention .Decorate your planner with bright colors and with motivational quotes, inspiring pics.

3) Organize within your planner with tabs in different hues such as "Monthly", Things to do"",Weekly,Beauty checklist(Part 2), Meal plan. What’s the point of a planner when the planner looks appealing on the outside and like a maze in the inside which defeats the purpose of effectiveness in the first place.

4) Convenient Place - Keep your planner in the most convenient place to reach for. Do not  chuck them among st piles of books and camouflaged into shelves to be forgotten for life.

5) Spent quality time with your planner at the start and end of each day .

Take a glimpse at my 2013 planner

I have not bought a fancy planner for myself yet, but I have created one for myself. The reason is that I’m trying out the system for myself so that when I am in sync with it I will go ahead and invest in a good  planner to stick by religiously rather than just buying and not being able to use it effectively. I recommend most of you’ll to give it a try my way as it is not simple to work with a planner due to inevitable human behaviors such as laziness which I’m guilty of mostly. Ha Ha
